As believers we are called out of darkness and into light, once separated from God and now reunited with him as his people.

We are one body united in Him and as such, our body needs all it's parts in order to function. We strive, as a community, to display that unity to the world as a light, in service to one another, to our community, and our city.

Serve Team Leaders

Our serve teams are a vital part of how we attend to the needs of the body day in and day out. Some opportunities are on Sundays, some are ongoing, and some are occasional,
but all opportunities are valuable! Check out the brief descriptions below to see what may be a fit for you and then complete the serve form below.

Brooke Ballard

Worship Ministry

We have the privilege of using our musical gifts to help lead our church in worship and into the presence of the Lord. Whether you sing or play an instrument, this team is a place to use your gifts to serve Jesus and our church community!

Kid's Ministry

The Kid’s Ministry is an opportunity to train young minds and hearts in the ways of God.  Our twofold purpose is to free parents up to take part in the gathering and teach the little ones about Jesus.  We learn, play and have fun doing it!  Join the team!

Greeting & Prayer

Greeting - This team welcomes guests, helps people find their way, and helps people feel at home.

Prayer - We believe in bringing everything before the Lord in prayer. This team has the privilege of praying for our church and the needs of those around us. 

Brian Messner

Logistics

We serve behind the scenes so our gatherings can stay focused on Jesus. From setting up to tearing down, this team helps create a welcoming space for our church each week. If you’re willing to roll up your sleeves and serve, we’d love to have you!

Tracy Weeks

Photo & Social Media

Our team captures and shares the life of our church and what God is doing through photos, videos, and social media. If you own a camera and love to take photos, edit, or create content we would love to have you join our team!

Josh Brands

Sound

Our Tech Team serves behind the scenes to help our Sunday gatherings run smoothly. From sound and worship to preaching and video, this team helps make sure everything can be seen and heard clearly. Whether you’re already tech-savvy or simply interested in learning, we’d love to have you join the team!

Donna Toberty

Hospitality & Events

Hospitality - Our team helps create a welcoming environment by preparing refreshments and setting up the hospitality table.

Events - This team helps plan events, coordinate, and communicate events that happen outside of a Sunday morning.

Slides

Our team keeps worship lyrics and sermon Scripture on screen, so everyone can follow along. We serve Jesus out of the spotlight because we’re controlling the spotlights (among other things).

Griffin Douglass

Live Stream

Our team sets up and runs the livestream video, so people can join our service from wherever they are. We make sure everything is running and connected.

Hunter Tate

Coffee Cart

Our team makes and serves coffee before service to help create a warm, welcoming start to church. We love serving people their favorite drinks and getting to know everyone!

1.  How do I sign up to serve?

There are many ways that you can serve, feel free to select more than one on the form! From there, one of our volunteer leaders will reach out to you to discuss with you opportunities you might thrive in!

2.  How do serve in Kid's Ministry?

Our children's ministry is a massive blessing to our community and a tremendous opportunity to teach and demonstrate who God is in serving our community's kids. We take safety and transparency very seriously with our children's ministry volunteers so there is a bit more of a process. Start with filling out the SERVE FORM to find out more!

3.  How do serve with music?

The music team is a group of people willing and able to worship God using their musical gifts. If you can sing or play an instrument, fill out the SERVE FORM and let us know! Someone will reach out to you to let you know the next steps.

4. Are there any needs that are not related to Sunday service?

As you might imagine, there are quite a few things entailed in having a thriving community. If you desire to serve the church in very tangible, productive, non-service related ways, there are many opportunities to do so! Whether it be administrative tasks, communications, tech tasks, or creative tasks like graphic design, there are likely opportunities for you. Fill out a SERVE FORM to get started!
